Affiliate Disclosure

Full transparency on how SoftwareAlmanac earns money — and why it never affects what we recommend.

Last updated: June 15, 2026

The short version

SoftwareAlmanac earns commissions from many of the links on this site. If you click a link to a software tool and then sign up or make a purchase, we may receive a commission — at no additional cost to you.

How it works

We participate in affiliate programs run by the software companies we feature. When you follow one of our links, the provider records that the referral came from us. If you go on to subscribe, they pay us a referral fee. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had visited the provider directly.

Our promise

Affiliate commissions help keep this site running, but they never determine what we feature or what we say. We only promote tools we genuinely believe solve real problems and deliver real value. We're not paid to write positive things, and a commission alone is never enough to earn a tool a spot on this site.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines, we disclose that we have a financial relationship with some of the companies whose products we mention. This page serves as that disclosure.
